Candidate Declaration - I confirm that the attached portfolio is all my own work and does not include any work completed by anyone other than myself Audition week,  Today on the 15th of April till the 18th will be our auditions for auditions for One flew over the cuckoos nest were held, ready and prepared after the Easter holidays to dive into auditions. Over the past week I have searched and searched for a monologue that would suit my criteria, it had to be dramatic, a touch comedic and completely insane. I came across a monologue that did exactly just that, from a contemporary version of Anton Chekhov's play Uncle Vanya, simply titled "Vanya". This play was put on by the national theatre and differs from the original play as all 9 characters are played by just one, an insane character that is spliced into 9 different characters like a crazed lunatic preformed by Andrew Scott.  The monologue I transcribed, apologies for the terrible handwriting  The context of the monolo
