Production Diaries 17th - 20th February

 Monday, 

Still carrying on with normalised, the rehearsals are going great, the transitions work very well and we are all happy with the set. 

the shrine is looking great there's just a few more things to add. We have also decide to add another scene in where Jamsey actually does destroy the shrine and I think this works really well with the transition. This character is quite hard to play, He is the complete opposite of me and he does have to do and say some unsavoury stuff, however it all makes for good theatre.

Tuesday, 

More rehearsing of everything from fringe fest to right young things, Tuesdays are a very independent day were we are allowed to just sort everything out an do our own things, its a perfect time to do bring young things as we get a full day of rehearsing. I am really having fun with my character as the presenter, I just get to be over the top and wacky which is really fun for me, no evil twin brother thing.

Thursday, 

This was a brilliant day as for our lesson with tom we have started to block the opening number from come from away, which is an absolutely incredible play, I managed to get the role of the police officer which I was very happy about. Come From Away was the first musical to really show that its also an actors game and not just a musical theatre thing. The whole song is about the acting and the story it is telling, and it need good acting to tell the story.
