Production Diaries 10th - 13th February

 Monday, 

We are really getting through normalised now and we have though a lot more about the set especially the shrine, we were told to bring in items that we think would belong on the shrine. The shrine is for my dead identical twin in the play, and as Jamesy I would bring anything in because I am actively trying to destroy the it the entire play, even with petrol. However I figured out what I could bring to the shrine, My face. Since the shrine is for my identical twin I took some photos to add to the shrine.

Tuesday, 

today we had chance to do fringe festival stuff as well as bright young things, this was very handy as we still have a lot to do for bouncers and for mine and Keirans Shakespeare project, well we settled on Romeo and Juliet act 3 scene 1, the fight against Tybalt and Romeo. This will be a good chance for me to direct the speaking parts as now we need someone to play Benvolio. Then Keiran can direct the combat sequence. As for bring young thigs we got a lot done today and we worked up until 4 blocking as many scenes as we could. 

Wednesday, 

We have had a little break though for how we are going to tackle the transition in normalised. JJ is a very talented guitarist and since his character "Bo" is in and out of it quite a lot, we think he can do covers of songs over the transitions, it give the whole play a way different vibe and it just really works, we are also doing this to avoid copy right violations as we need sings approved before we go to Newcastle theatre royal.

Thursday, 

for the past couple of weeks we have been rehearsing a little table read scene for our film and tv lesson, its all about the emotion on our face, in a close up you can not escape the camera so you have to be fully convincing. We got the chance to film it today and then see what we could of improved on, interesting to see your face on a screen.
