Production Diaries 23rd - 26th September

 Monday,

Today we tried out a lot of new games with a big focus on work as one, moving as one, jump as one and even running as one. This is getting us prepared for working together as a group for the ghost light tour. Its a really a group effort to guide the audience and to adapt to any curve balls. Interactive theatre can be very scary because its never really in your control and its much different to engage the audience. We got cracking with our audition material, me and Erin decided to make our own scene to go into the audition with.

Wednesday,

Today we went through our auditions for the ghost light tours. I auditioned twice with Erin and Lola, we created two different scenes to showcase our understanding of the characters. We were given some feedback, to go and ramp up the scenes and add more scare factor. We decided to go with the scene me and Lola devised and then add more scare factor and some interaction with the audience. This was performed in front of the class so we could use everyone as our audience.

Thursday,
A very exiting day today, we had LAMDA come in and do a workshop with us, as well as this, we have also been given free auditions that will be held up in Newcastle. The workshop was very interesting, we learned a lot about understanding the text and the given circumstance. The people running it seemed very nice and defiantly has opened me up to another potential drama school.
